About

Sestilio started his career as a machinist at Garibaldo Ricciarelli, a die manufacturer, where he worked from 1923 to 1935. He then started his own business before moving to Sansepolcro to lead the die department at Buitoni's pasta factory. His son Mario later joined him. In 1949, they left Buitoni's and started their own die repair and manufacturing business in Sansepolcro, later joined by Sestilio's second son Marcello. The family moved back to Pistoia in 1953 and continued their business.
