The company was founded by János Ziegler in 1970 and has since expanded from hand-held production to automated manufacturing. Initially catering to the domestic market, Ziegler started exporting in 1990 and is now globally recognized. In 2001, due to increasing demand, the company relocated to a larger factory in Zsambek. Ziegler is committed to providing a diverse range of wafers, including organic and gluten-free options. The company maintains high quality standards, backed by its IFS certification system introduced in 2006.
